Guess where an assembly line just had some room made available for a new production vehicle. I’ll give you a hint.

Yep,

If I were in the market for a new car, I would actually consider this as an alternative to a small CUV. My wife already drives a mini-van, so the kid hauling duty is fully covered, but a small pick-up, that can carry the occasional large or bulky item, but still get decent mileage would be right up my alley. Plus,

Any late model Ford, Dodge or Chevy panel van. Typically no A/C, a hot engine parked next to your right leg, and only two windows to provide any ventilation. My dad drove a Ford van for years as his work vehicle, and nothing was worse than being stuck in traffic, in the summer, in that truck.

Sure, just remind me of my ‘85 Golf. I loved that car, man. I really did, until my sister drove it into the rear end of a Chevy Nova!

Same here, sort of. I’m in N.W. Ohio, right on the border with Michigan. I would guess 1/4 of the cars around here do not have a front plate, as officers are so used to seeing Michigan drivers who do not have a front plate drive through. And Ohio does not have mandatory auto inspections either.

I’d take Mr. Scott. He’d be able to fix damn near anything, and he’d make for a great drinking buddy at the end of the trip. Imagine all the shit he’d know about Kirk & Spock!

Thanks, I was having that strange feeling of deja vu....

I believe I can fly!

My worst track day was about a month before Christmas a few years ago. I had it all planned out, it would be an epic day for me and my then 8 year old son. First, I’d head to Toy’s R’ Us and pick up this little gem.

Yup, the wagon would be on my list of replacement family cars, if I could find one that wasn’t already rusting out in N.W. Ohio.

I could be passenger???

I like this version, especially in heavy traffic.

I hate to be that guy, but 2nd paragraph, “Russia’s A-10 Warthog”?

Maybe they used the wrong type of tractor? My uncle swore by IH’s. A John Deere was for mowing the lawn.

Wait, $40K for a Focus? Hmm...

Sure it is.

Hmm, mixing Hot Wheels & Matchbox cars? You know what that is? Do you?!

I’ve found a nice pair of CFMP’s worn by my wife helps allievate the height differences between us (6’4” and 5’5”). That, and they make her look really hot.

Wow, now that’s a nice looking older Audi. Wait, it has a stick shift and quattro as well? Awesome! So, how much do you want for it, $5,000 - $7,500 or so, because it has almost 200K on the clock? What? Did you say $19,500? Oh, I’m sorry, you’ve been hitting that pipe pretty hard, haven’t you?
