You may recall the Group B wars, culminating in a 1000hp S1 ( I believe it was even referenced here on Jalopnik a time or two ). Trust me - Audi remembers.

It'd be cost prohibitive, but I hope they pull out all the stops ( Or make it so 034 can help me pull out all the stops ). Maybe no one else used the height adjustment on the original allroad, but I loved it. I'm cool with the hybrid drivetrain, if it's solid enough to survive offroad ( and I don't need a case of oil

You think they're tiny, but when you sit in a TT or an R8, they're fine. Sightlines are good, and the space is TARDIS-like. Add the solid thunk of an Audi door, and you've never felt so safe.

Thank you. He's happy, she's happy. Most of these comments seem a little too focused on the negative.

It's not an easy thing to be stolen from your maker....if only you could see what I've seen with your eyes! Can the maker repair what he makes?

have you actually heard it ?

so THAT's what 034's been working on....

well, the bike from the factory tops out at what... 186? Time for a sprocket change. It might not be so quick off the line, but it might have a wee bit longer legs.

COTD!

at what point do you forsee Planetary Industries having competition? There are some earth bound initiatives that are cost competitive but cause environmental disruption ( on a planet local scale ); at what point does it just make more sense to go to the belt?

at the risk of repeating myself :

Actually, that radio's kind of hideous. None of the controls or the dial are well placed - it's just an affect to achieve balance against the speaker grill. It's exactly the kind of thing you were were talking about, you just happen to like it.

wow. all I can say to the trolls is "dream bigger." it's a mechanical masterpiece. That it's expensive and attracts douchy people is certainly true, but it pushed the bar way, WAY up. If you want it in flat black with a cloth seat interior, I'm sure you could have it done, but that's not the problem is it? The problem

never really thought about it, but CF wheels have been around for motorcycles for like -evar. BST started delivering in 2k2, and I'm fairly sure there were some one offs before then. Probably just makes more sense on a motorcycle where the percentage of weight is greater, and the moment of inertia is more "readily

In IT for 20+ years - a lot of us drive Audis.

1990 Audi V8 Quattro - 350k miles when sold - new owner is close to 450k

please tell me someone has already said "in-SRT Viper". because there are sooooo many ways to take that.

I dont even like 911s, but that level of intensity gives one pause. Ferdinand Piëch comes to mind, so i know someone's flogging quattros into shape for me elsewhere round the globe...
