@Bad Juju and the Axle Tramps: Don't get me wrong, I loved my V8. Apparently the prev. own. didn't though, and if you use anything but the correct fluid in the rack, it eats the seals. Anything after that is throwing good money after bad - rip it all out.

@maximum_sarge: The guys that spotted it for me have a KW code engine as well - but I seriously doubt I could ever street that. Which sucks. 'Cause it'd be awesome.

@maximum_sarge: Same story, twice. In 2003, instead of buying the '85 Ur-q that came up a week later, I bought a '90 V8. Great car, but it ate steering racks like they were going out of style.

My 2k3 allroad. 6sp manual biturbo goodness. I wasn't afraid to take it offroad, either - it replaced an supercharged xterra 4x4, and went most of the same places. But the dot com bomb halved our income, and it had to go. I got a '90 V8 for a year or so until things got stable. I *really* should have let that TT go…
