Boooooooooooooooo

Well, now we know who was using the copier in the crapper at Mar-A-Lago.
Haolong must we sing this song...
Haolong are we going to allow flat out copying from China?
Nah. Maroon or burgundy, not even oxblood. Brown Volvos (especially of this era) were distinctly BROWN.
Sounds about white.
Wouldn’t a clapped-out WRX be a more appropriately powered by vape batteries?
I don’t think she’s a boomer, but a bitter, crusty Xer.
You’re also colorblind, because that isn’t brown.
Re: big clock, small tach:
This is a base model. You didn’t get a big tachometer from the factory until you leveled up to the GL trim. The 80mm hole came with a clock to remind you that you didn’t pony up for the fancy trim.
But one of the best parts of the 1981+ 240 cars was there were 5 spaces around the radio that…
As we can see in one of the engine bay pictures, the battery is over four years old, so that may be an upcoming maintenance item.
This is definitely not a diesel.
Ive found that simple tire noise on the road is enough
Easy NP. I owned a 78 242, bought it a police auction for 300 bucks, with 140k plus miles on the odometer, when I got it needed new disc brakes and shocks and that’s it. I daily drove it for 4 years and sold it for 800. During those 4 years only needed regular maintenance and replacing one broken generator cable.
It will go the distance, it will not go for speed.
Nice price, and the interior seals the deal, as they can be as expensive to set right as a cheap paint job. This old Volvo looks very well cared for and needs nothing major. Enjoy it as an old classic, or, if you are a practical sort that needs to give every car a purpose, use it as your antique and estate sale…
“There’s no way this car is worth over three thou-”
*looks at car*
NP for a neat hobby car. Are you going to take the family on cross country road trips with it? No. But are you going to enjoy the occasional Saturday morning in the garage doing some relatively simple -- and satisfying wrenching? Sure. And you’re going to meet some down to earth people when out and about, too. This…
Come on, it’s a classic. Not to be mistaken for anything else. It’s iconic. Some New Finish and new springs to get the rear end back up where it belongs and you have a ride that will be noticed.
Sure, it's got 300k miles, but if those maintenance records check out, this is a NP. Another case of buying the owner, not the car.
