Neutral: At my last job, I got to drive a company car to appointments after telling my boss I wouldn't drive my BMW anymore. It was a bright yellow manual Protege5 wagon. I actually liked that car.

I agree. The fusion was great until I switched to a DE single-blade razor and found out I don't have to live with the burn and occasional bites. Never nicked myself with my LORD L6 razor... Oh, and the cartridges are way too expensive and they only last me two shaves.
This is great. I really wish I could attend a track day, and I'd totally do it in that Baja Bug.
Ouch! I'm guessing your wallet was a bit lighter after that?
I'm quite good at headlight spotting, but those damn new Caprices that the WA Staters have are tough. Thanks for the exact pattern. They also have Suburban/Tahoes that regularly patrol around here, Sheriffs and WASP.
+1
I feel like you should watch the movie through once, and THEN watch the chase over and over again.
For shame. Watch the whole movie.
This is perfect.
A matter of preference, my friend! I'd be happy, of course, with the CSL. It just seems much less "affordable" and too special to consider driving around regularly. I aimed for a speck of realism here. Maybe if I moved to a house with space for a car collection...
Do it! And take pictures, write a post, etc...
I extra-recommend this post. Great choices.
So many cars, but on this particular morning I'm going to say BMW 2002 with an Audi Quattro runner-up.
Do you miss the sound of a "real" engine, or do you get used to the electric whine after a while?
Neutral: I really want an A4. I want that Quattro.
No problem. I'm glad you think my car is a soon-to-be classic. It's probably worth more to me than anyone, though. I wish it was a little more reliable, but I like the feel of cars 1995 and earlier. Less stuff getting in the way of the experience. However, I commute in traffic for at least an hour a day, so the idea…
I think FWD hatchbacks are really fun, so I'm definitely in the ST camp. It's not RWD, though, so I wouldn't want to "hoon" in it, I think.
I may have quickly typed this post and not included much clarification... That's what I get for thinking out loud.
For hooning? The Toyota. But I actually want a Fiesta ST. Not that I'm looking to buy a new car. I can hoon in my M3 if I want to. Without all the payments and spendy insurance.
Gotcha. California's asshole population is a little bit different than ours up here. I do remember more Audi jerks down there.
