FWD car’s can defiantly be fun, you just have to drive them differently than RWD. Trail braking is way more important because that’s how you neutralize the understeer (instead of the throttle in a RWD car) and if you do it hard enough you can even get some oversteer.

The problem is most of what you mention are enthusiasts cars and wouldn’t actually sell. They need to take the Ford, Subaru, Honda, and what the Koreans are doing now. Start selling cheap, reliable, econoboxes and when you get big from that, start making hot models.

I’m not the best person to explain it, but the root issue is more cultural. They have completely different beliefs about nationhood, government, and legitimacy than we do. So going over there and trying to impose a Western style government might not piss everyone off, but it’ll piss of enough to become insurgents.

Actually people like him were the majority. That’s why America never entered the war until after pearl harbor.
