Oh! This is embarrassing... I seem to have completely misunderstood the point you were making... I thought you meant that you shouldn’t always tell the other person of any wrongs you’ve committed towards them.
But in the end it was that person’s actions that caused their dilemma. I don’t think it’s fair for that person to hold that kind of control over a relationship. Deciding what’s best for the relationship isn’t a one person job. If the truth comes out any other way the damage is usually irreparable.
