They are all just football idiot-savants. They have no knowledge of anything else and absolutely no social skills for any situation outside of a locker room, athletic field, recruiting pitch, or (if they are truly high functioning), press conference.

What I’ve never understood is why the owners pay Goodell so much dough. The guy is basically a high-profile account rep. They could pay someone else a couple hundred grand a year and experience zero loss.

The idea that Goodell is closely aligned with the owners is nonsense. I am a Packers owner and I have never heard from Goodell.

And of course when Goodell says he has to reach out to Bob Kraft that means he has to get his people scouring every shitty looking strip mall in Florida 

What’s worse is that there’s probably a perfectly lovely girl he knows who’d put up with his shit and love him, except he thinks he can do better.
