For all of his grandstanding and Trumpist grievance-baby politicking, DeSantis still has the personality of a stale triscuit. And of all of the conservative-cheerleader legislation he’s enacted, there’s a nonzero chance that a number of them will get walked back by the courts around the time he’s campaigning for the

Nailed it. Deep pockets can be counted on for one thing - to vilify those who make them seem incompetent and out of touch. The “who didn’t get a nomination because of her??” is such baffling BS that they had to wrap it carefully in race-bait to even get anyone to pay attention to it.

It may not be as good as what’s on this list, but hot damn if Calls - which has no visuals to speak of and only tells its captivating story through audio phone calls - didn’t surprise the hell out of us. Great voice cast. 15m or so each episode makes for an easy binge, and you’re gonna binge.

Avatar-hate is not just a feeling, it’s a way of life. You can’t just take that away from the people!

Too many people at the top echelons of large companies are happy to stay at a great distance from the people that pay for their products. All they want to do is show how they squeezed more blood from the turnip, with zero regard for the downstream consequences.

All I can say about Tron Legacy is, it has a soundtrack made for a much, much better movie than the one I saw. Other than that, it was pretty, but boy was it just bad.  I just don’t get the excitement behind this, especially with the tepid response it got from moviegoers.

Maverick for best picture? Did I miss all the good parts of the movie when I was amazed at how bad it was at 30 minutes and turned it off?

It really boggles the mind. Speaks, I think, to the insane PR muscle that COS brings to bear as part of their grift.

As soon as I heard that the Rock got BA removed entirely from Shazam, I had a pretty good feeling this was going to tank. Without a connection to an existing DCEU property, BA was a mostly unknown character that had to be marketed without a built-in audience. The fact that Shazam was fun and moderately successful

Based solely on his performance in Bullet Train, I am on board.

We had to look up The Unforgivable before we remembered how we dipped halfway through it for being uninteresting. Glass Onion, on the other hand, was a delight and we look forward to the next installment. However, I wonder if Netflix understands that people don’t remember streaming services for their movies; it’s

I was thinking the same thing. If they’re after Lamb, they’re not there yet. There’s clearly more to come.

failed at the last moment

This.  How the ever-living f**k this movie ended up on this list is mystifying to me.  The expositional dialog alone was enough to make my eyes roll into the next state, and the setup made almost no sense.  I got an hour into it before I groaned myself into the fetal position.

“Oscar campaign”? Does anyone really believe there’s Oscar-worthy anything in Maverick? I had to take a break from the awful dialog and story just 30 minutes in, and now I’m wondering if I’m a lone voice in the wilderness.

Humanity collectively sighs in relief that you’ve spared yourself that fiction.

“All of these good reviews are falling flat with me because this movie has visual fidelity with the original”

Been waiting all of December to find out how much you aren’t going to see this movie

It’s really amazing how much this review triggers you, having not seen the film, or having any intention of seeing the film

Who’s disrespecting? Are you bigoted against muppets?
