Has Gates McFadden always looked like Kira from the Dark Crystal?
Has Gates McFadden always looked like Kira from the Dark Crystal?
Going into this ep, knowing she’d seen Greg’s picture and heard Greg’s phone calls and saw the uncle f***er in action, I was thinking, “maybe Tanya has hidden layers?”
Lol who’s mad at you? So dramatic. You also proved my point.
Also, “this movie is beneath me, I’ll never watch it, but I’m not going to just sit here while people give it good reviews”. Really don’t get the obsession with this movie, or the need to validate their opinions about it.
The comments here are delightful. I can almost see the lines of copium being cut on Friday.
I’m not a big fan of either of them, but Let it Go from Frozen and Skyfall were both pretty huge and played for-f***ing-ever. Whether or not it resonates doesn’t seem to be a concern for Cameron, who caught that lightning once already, arguably one of the best known songs in the last 50 years..
What’s really strange is that, of all the couples in the show, Daphne and Cameron have what appears to be the most stable relationship. It’s like the lies and indiscretions are the common thread that keeps them together.
Mine did as well, but like the characters mine also had a mix of eye color, and their 2 kids were blond/blue and black/brown. Hence the assumption.
The moment she shows Harper a photo of her kids on her phone (while claiming to be looking to show off “her trainer”) felt particularly calculated in its ditziness, almost as if she knew what she was doing, telling Harper in no uncertain terms why she stayed with Cameron
I guess I had a different takeaway. The Death Star angle means that Aldhani wasn’t the reason prison sentences became harsher (or, as I’ve found out, permanent). It was a convenient excuse to meet a longer term goal.
Somehow both Adidas and Ye are immune to workplace harassment laws? And civil lawsuits in the absence thereof? I don’t get this.
Huh. Turns out “someone” was fanboys on Twitter, not anyone in any kind of official capacity.
Boldly going where other people have gone before
On point.
No kidding. We were looking forward to Obi Wan, and didn’t finish the first episode. And then Andor comes along, and we were like “that dude?” and were completely blindsided by it. It’s almost too good for the Star Wars universe, in that I might not be able to stomach any of the other nonsense.
The anecdotal community is out in force this morning to remind people that *they* have not heard anyone talk about this movie. And that *they* found the original derivative and boring. Edgy.
“It’s even harder for older writers. You don’t meet many 52-year-old white males.”
The first episode of Visions was the only one we could sit through. The rest may have used interesting visual styles, but the storytelling was straight up garbage.
Hopefully John Cho keeps his Bebop hairdo for this one. It’s the new character this franchise needs right now.
Isn’t a preemptive renewal like this just to secure cast and crew commitments? It’s just enough ahead of launch to maintain momentum, but not so far that any significant production costs are incurred prior to the season dropping. If this underperforms, it’ll likely be GLOW’ed faster than you can tweet #halowinterest
