So I haven’t read the story yet, but I’m hoping it doesn’t involve any omniscient/ omnipotent extradimensional computers, idiotic military maneuvers, or protagonists that live forever even though you wish they would die.

Bird Box? My biggest anxiety watching that movie was how much I’d be able to miss if I went to the bathroom and didn’t pause.
I had this nagging feeling that season 2 was going to screw the pooch what with the the whole Shadow person being who they are, and what that was going to do. But they went ahead and proved that dead wrong.

The second season may have been a messy indulgence, but there was lots of creative and clever visual storytelling in the second season. Psychic battle as Dance-off? Yes, please.
