So I haven’t read the story yet, but I’m hoping it doesn’t involve any omniscient/ omnipotent extradimensional computers, idiotic military maneuvers, or protagonists that live forever even though you wish they would die.

Bird Box? My biggest anxiety watching that movie was how much I’d be able to miss if I went to the bathroom and didn’t pause.
I had this nagging feeling that season 2 was going to screw the pooch what with the the whole Shadow person being who they are, and what that was going to do. But they went ahead and proved that dead wrong.
[The production team] worked hard on [The New Mutants movie]. I want to see it released [theatrically], I’d hate to see it thrown at Hulu.
The second season may have been a messy indulgence, but there was lots of creative and clever visual storytelling in the second season. Psychic battle as Dance-off? Yes, please.
Still waiting on that Easy-Bake Oven movie.
If the game Monopoly had been invented in 2019, what name would they give it?
Slow news day? Making this or the “turd box challenge” a Netflix PR problem is manufacturing a crisis out of whole cloth.
To be fair, we’re talking about a giant moth here, which despite the nostalgic glow doesn’t give us much to work with. If we hew too close to the original, Mothra becomes a 10-second appearance, basically a splat waiting to happen.
Pour one out for ol’ X-Force. Victim of the merger. $800 million grosser easy.

...which revealed that the Romulan Empire had been torn apart by the destruction of Romulus, consumed by a star going supernova.
Counterpart (season 2): Starz
And I guess to quote Snoop Dogg, we are the shiznit.
Agree with your take here. Amazon not a great company (something that happens to most huge companies eventually), but Prime has been wrong a handful of times in the last decade.
Not quite sure how it’s a ripoff if the Higuchi directed both. It’s like saying that Sagisu ripped off Decisive Battle from Evangelion. If you’re the guy that created it, the worst that can be said is that you overused it.
Yeah, but the Globes have done their damndest to dilute the magic of “awards season.” Given the well-known trading of favors among the membership, who are themselves often very questionable members of the “foreign press,” it’s not a surprise that nominations would lean firmly in the direction of HFPA marketing goals,…
Just fantastic storytelling in this show, not the least of which is the fact that, like he said, JK Simmons really nails the dimension-fractured versions of Howard. Going to be interesting if they ever get to know each other well enough to be able to properly impersonate the other (so far I don’t think anyone’s been…
Not sure what your point is.
