Oh. This seems like a really good fit for me. does it really need a cable box though? Damn. I don't have cable for a reason. Looks like I am just getting a Boxee. If only there was a boxee/OnLive mix. This seemed close (Due to the Plex app, which is all I really need)

Imagine saying that five years ago. "Low-end model with 16GB of RAM"

Wait a bit. the new iPhone is rumoured to be coming out in the fall so buying one in Sept will get you burned.

Except no.

If you do this a few times (Let's say ten) you could, possibly, have a cyclical daily dose of celery

I LOVE my new Galaxy Nexus. though, I am accident prone and need to put it into a case, otherwise it will probably break. but when I am home it leaved the case. Just when I leave the house it goes back in. So pretty

read the aricle: Apples back to school deal sucks compared to two years ago (Free ipod)

it's not about the drive.... It's about the film. And it's not meant for most people, it is meant for those rare few who want it in 4K and are willing to pay a premium

if you are releasing in 4K, it's nice to be able to crop in. (Say your actors performnce is better in a wide shot than his medium? Crop in and still use 4K without loss in image quality)

read the article: when you buy the fullres version, it comes on a thumb drive

IIRC, they are shooting some of the olympics in 8K, so they made this to make it simpler (Possibly for cropping in)

I'm pretty sure it's 16 times. 4K (Well, the slight smaller 'standard' of QHD) is exactly 4X the resolution of 1080P.

I have yet to use either, but hot damn I want top play with them!

Oh, right! forgot about those! disregard everything I just said!

I didn't say that 8K was not awesome. I just said that it will not be a standard for a long, long time (If at all)

Yeah, calibration is pretty important with them. the whiteboard app is actually pretty indepth, when you learn about it, and you can even go onto web pages etc. and circle shit with the pens then save a screenshot.

This will probably NOT replace HDTV for a long time. Why? because, even now, 'HD' is either 720P or 1080i. Neither of which is full HD we should be getting.

I used to work for them. They are great (the old ones were slightly laggy. but nothing like you are explaining) the new ones are freaking amazing.

Are you insinuating that the company has small shops where they force people to shed tears and collect them on a massive, industrial, scale?

So... a SMART board? (Possibly using their Surface 2 tech though. but similar functionality)
