I have been so bothered recently with these group challenges on weeks where the groups don’t match up. It’s not even like there have been any double stays/double eliminations this season, so it’s baffling why they do a whole challenge about comedy duos but have one girl do it by herself. It really makes me wonder how

my theory is that the placements were based on the feedback from the interviewees. So that is why Marcia did not come out as badly.

Based on what we saw Loosey or Luxx would have been better choices for the win. So either the editing was complete shit or there is some blatant rigga mortis here, even for Drag Race standards

yah, something was amiss about the whole thing. I didn’t witness any of the banter the judges were referencing with Sasha. I wonder if Michelle is even wtf with the edit this season.

Anetra was the best of the bunch doing the interviews.

truly, even the quick shots of her face doing weird twitches (which I’m sure we all do throughout the day) feels cruel by production lol

I was going to start by recommending Drag Race Belgique, but this week RuPaul’s DR was fun! Yes it was rushed, yes Anetra’s story broke my heart, yes I knew that trying to serve 27 (I think?) looks in the time they had would be mad, but it was all just such a whirlwind of creativity, emotion and humor that felt like a

Megameh at this episode. The runways were presented in such a hurried manner, the lip sync was so messy (I love Salina doing emotion to something that required spectacular dance, but yet) and the balls looked expensive and boring at the same time. I liked Marcia’s takes but she is also looking so monochromatic.

it’s frustrating because with this format you don’t get time to get to know the queens, time to see the dynamics, time to enjoy the challenges, and the only thing that remains is the narrative of the eliminations and who is the winner, and as you say the winner is very much written on the wall. Sasha is SO above the

It’s still insane that one of these queens is going to win $200000.

It definitely was the best episode since the two-part premiere, but I’m of two minds about it. The shorter runtime made for a fast paced episode, but there was no winner, and I agree it was a completely shitty way to take out Jax.

The whole metal-gate and Mistress/Malaysia drama = snore.

it kind of called back to some absurdist comedy from Ru’s era in the 90s, so I appreciate Ru trying to educate. But I don’t know if it quite translated well when the Queens weren’t given the tone of the sketch.

very valid critiques, Trae. This was shit with cool runways and a great lip sync. Cannot wait to avoid the next episode

there is a specific kind of theatre kid Ru hates with all her guts. Pretty sure it has a origin story on one ex.

Belgium starts soon thankfully. Maybe it's a mess but it will feel less robotic.

I’ve noticed a few people supporting Mistress, and while I think she’s one of the more polished queens, I have to say it’s telling when she says in the confessional “Girl, we were just cuttin’ up. Why y’all so serious?” after she was openly refusing to resolve “metal-gate” fairly saying “Why would we even pick ...

The season is so off. Everything is blah. Oh, how to decide? Eeny meeny miny moe, you’re the queen that’s got to go!

It does seem they filmed for 90 minutes. It’s a mess

I do not remember that Robin girl from any of the other episodes, and now she’s gone. And my gosh, was that battle over the metal song some yawn.
