this is what All Stars was always meant to be, I’m happy the format finally works.

Also I felt like Yvie and Shea should have read a little more for not paying a proper homage to Vanna. I know maybe she might not have been a part of their upbringing, but she was a lot of queer kids first intro to pageantry, be interpretive but still pay tribute to Vanna’s role in the culture.
lol I loved it, it felt like trying to make alliances in gay ultimate dodgeball nights. everyone is trying to be sneaky and include everyone.
I get the impression this season is a lot more relaxed than others, and I love it.
There’s a reasonable argument to be made that her Eleganza look made up for the lack of John Waters look.
I can’t remember if they’re taking a week off or if the final is next week.
I feel like Raja won’t be able to get a star now that she missed out on getting one in a challenge that she is very strong at. I hope i’m mistaken. I’d love to see her at the final 4.
It’s been a while, so here’s a few thoughts about Drag Race Espana.
I rewatched season 7 during lockdown, and honestly? It’s not as bad as it I remembered it being when it aired. I do think Shakesqueer is hands-down the worst challenge ever on the show- seemingly designed to ensure that nobody could succeed- but overall the season is buoyed by a great group of queens. And, unlike the…
Raja should have been in the top with Jinx. I didn’t thin Trinity’s take on Satan was that great
Jinkx couldn’t have “learned” from Willow Pill’s mistake, considering this was filmed before season 14 aired. And queens have been changing out of their runway looks into more lip sync friendly looks on All Stars for years at this point! Why are you acting brand new, Trae?
Yes, I feel like the issue with Yvie is that she’s not that weird. Flicking your tongue is like some Star Wars idea of what denotes a weirdo lol.
I definitely think Raja deserved the other winning spot instead of Trinity, especially do you difficulty AND her runway.
Jinx is the Queen of the Snatch Game. But this at least was a palette cleanser from the actual season’s Snatch Game.
This was a fun episode, though I do think some of the criticism of it being too long and overstuffed was justified. Specifically, the Ru Paul performance of the new RuPaul song was a bit much. It was strange to watch RuPaul perform it and then watch the cast perform the same song.
I do wonder about the judges’…
Hi Trae, are you a moderator here? Could you please ungray some of the regular commenters here (like davidcalgary29)? If not, could you ask a moderator to please do so?
“Hope springs eternal, but no.”
I liked the song choice (though I wish they’d used the original ABBA version) but I agree that both lip syncs were lackluster
Is there some kind of revisionist history or 20-20 hindsight going on? Many here say that it was obvious that Willow was going to win from the start?!
Of course the real winners this season were those we brought out of the grays.
