Sacrilegy! This is a very specific style of nu disco-nu boogie that was very much around the 2010s, as part of the post dubstep million of subgenres. It has a lot of Dam Funk or Neon Indian. I love it. And it hits hard when played on the clubs.

I miss when the AV Club reviews were more reviews than recaps, when they were more opinion-based and not just rewrites of what we watched. I guess that hasn’t been the case in years though.
