He probably should have spent another 14¢ on some glossy black spray paint. — So I take it that there's no way to dismantle an old iPhone dock and put the new plug in it? ...which would look 10,000x better than this abomination.

So I'm guessing Apple was also responsible for pulling the YouTube app. Which was a total dick move, since they didn't have some kind of Apple YouTube app waiting to replace it. Instead we get a shitty Google YouTube iPhone app that looks like crap on an iPad. I don't care if Apple has some kind of vendetta against…
If you still want to use Google Maps, all you have to do is go to maps.google.com in Safari, then choose the Add to Home Screen icon from the Send To widget thingy. That should tide people over until Google makes a replacement app.
I thought that clock face looked familiar. Apple definitely needs to fork over some monies on this one.
When I typed in Heathrow, Maps gave me 4 suggestions. The 2nd choice was Heathrow airport, England. Problem solved. Better yet, why don't we get Heathrow, Florida to change its name, so Maps won't have this issue anymore. How about George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Florida?
I think he just admitted that his wiener is small enough to fit the lightening port. That's very disturbing imagery. Aside from his shortcummings, I'd definitely hit that. He's a hottie... and he owns an iPhone 5. It's win/win!
Companies are allowed freedom of speech, only if the Christians approve of that speech. I thought everyone already knew that.
With all the snarky comments about everything Apple, I'm not sure what these people were expecting today? The new phone has a larger screen, but it's significantly thinner and lighter than the previous version. It will also have an updated OS, plus Cloud services.
Considering that these photos came from a phone, I think they look pretty stunning. Especially the license plate and the flower/bee shot.
If they sell it for $50, they've made a sale — as long as it sounds better than the built-in iPad speaker. That it doubles as a Bluetooth speaker for cell phones is a nice bonus.
It wouldn't look as bad if the leather was dark brown. But that tan is so damn boring and ugly. — I thought this all started with the woodgrain trim on Garageband. I'm guessing Steve thought the OS was getting sterile and boring. But skeumorphism wasn't the correct solution to the problem.
Reading smacks of effort. I'll wait for the movie about the free books to come out.
I guess the real question is whether Google still wants their Maps on iOS6, and if Apple will allow consumers to have access to the app if that's the case. I would assume that Google could sue Apple for being anti-competitive, since Apple also has a maps app and would be stifling competition.
Well said, and thank you :o)
I'm not sure why your "choice" should trump the civil rights of other Americans? ...and yes, being religious IS a choice. Since non-religious straight couples have always been permitted to marry (and religious people don't seem to have a problem with "heathens" taking part in their religious institution), I don't…
Nicely said. I'd give you a gold star if that were electronically possible :o)
Gay people are already subsidizing opposite-sex marriages with the taxes that they pay, while receiving no benefit for doing so. In fact, while gay people are supporting those marriages, our government is going out of their way to discriminate against those tax paying gay people (DOMA).
Having the state and government treat my 18-year relationship as if it doesn't exist, has nothing to do with money. Our government should not be in the business of pretending that gay Americans are incapable of forming relationships that are exactly the same as straight relationships. That isn't their job. — If they…
As a gay man that's had to listen to homophobic garbage from politicians for decades, I am beyond grateful for Chris Kluwe. The meme that goes something like, "Gay marriage will rip apart the fabric of society!" needs to end. It's bullshit, and these politicians and religious spokes-holes need to constantly be called…
