The car is a lyre? Must be a diesel Volkswagen.

That’s not at all how the FIA’s sporting regulations are written. There’s no concept of “he has the racing line so he can do whatever he wants”.

It’s bad enough that too many of the Deadspin writers have that “Forget the rules, how I feel during the event is more important” attitude. Please don’t let that get rooted here. If a rule is broken, issue the penalty. Don’t like the rule? Champion for it to get removed next season.

Who’s racing these, though? There’s usually enough extra madness tacked onto McLaren’s GTR models, that they could’ve still gotten away with making this thing less ugly...

I you can’t see shit then maybe you shouldn’t be mashing the throttle and doing a u turn blindly across the road.

I read books about serial killers, and I don’t think they’re cool. I read magazine articles about how people fish by sticking their arm down a catfish’s throat, and I think it sounds stupid. I’ve even read articles where I’m told that shaving your nutsack is what the ladies are looking for, but I’m not gonna do it.

It was definitely this man’s unlocky day.

Eh, I’m bummed Kimi is losing his seat. LeClerc seems like a decent young talent and I hope he does well. Although I think Vettel will probably end up ruining him.

I really want someone to make an actual vinyl windshield (windscreen for our homies across the pond) banner that says:

I know an opinion can’t technically be wrong, but your opinion is wrong and you should feel bad.

I think everyone really missed the point of his comment. It wasn’t saying it is a bad idea or it wasn’t a life saving device, there was just more investigation needed to show the halo was actually the savior of any harm in this incident.

With that much downforce, you can really...

Well; even though I agree, I will say it technically isn’t a crosswalk, it’s a ramp for crossing and it’s not painted as such. Why they would put a ramp in and not a painted crosswalk is asinine. A spot like that should have not only the paint but this as well:

I’m impressed by the ESP, seeing how it’s capable of saving a driver that’s doing most of it wrong.

I live in Tampa (actually moving to Denver tomorrow) and have both ridden my bike and ran along Bayshore Boulevard many times. It’s a beautiful street with incredible homes and a great view of the bay. You see dolphins occasionally and it’s just a great part of Tampa.

You guys have all missed the point of the corduroy seats.

Are those seats fabric?

“Fast driving track day human” in the video reporting in. This was lap #2. Brakes couldn’t stop the car on warm up lap. Chunks came off on the hot lap in the video. I pulled it in on the third. If you guys have any more questions, I’ll try my best to answer without commentating on neutrality.
