It’s just too short-lived for me, and unless you’re in a powerful car where traction is limited it’s not even remotely challenging. So what are you doing, beating the hell out of your driveline for a solid launch and then what? Staying on the gas? Yahoo man.

Also because taking a street car to a drag strip is booooooring.

If you haven’t used a pipe wrench on a car before you haven’t lived.

And it sounds so, so much better than the V8, which is typical ARGH I R V8 I LOUD. The V6 has a different quality about it than almost anything on the road.

Yes, cars in bad condition are no fun. A clean 944 with fresh suspension components is a real blast to drive.

Stop hitting the brakes when you break traction! STOP!

I just realized how ugly that digital dash is. It’s... Ugh.

100% this. Buttons and knobs can be made part of a timeless design, but that infotainment center will be out of date and abhorrent to look at in no more than 5 years time.

Boo this man! Donks are wonderful for their utter lack of care. You see a donk and it says “I’m just here to have a good time!”

Now that I think about it, I’ve been around waste water treatment facilities for vehicle factories and there’s a solid chance of this happening outside of a LOTO incident. There might be open tanks with machinery operating in them where you could fall over or through guardrail. Then again, I shouldn’t speculate

Porsche 911s had torsion bar front ends for a long, long time. They ran from the front to the back of the lower control arms with a MacPherson strut along with it. Why they did all that instead of a coilover I have no idea, because it’s an option nowadays.

The BMW Isetta’s front end has never made any sense to me. Those boxes up front hold the springs, and they do NOT bolt up to the body. I’m making this post and even I don’t know how they work.

Not to be a negative nancy, but that looks unbelievably dangerous with no roll cage.

Looks like yellow, black and white made contact right around 0:13-0:15 which lead to the actual pileup. The cloud is just a freaky bonus.

Oh god traffic on the final lap? I loved the high beams frantically flashing, trying to get the lapped car out of the way.

You can spec out 911s still with a gray interior in full leather and it looks abominable.

VehiCross was my very first thought, and it was a good thought to have.

I care only in the sense that I’m glad Chevy is trying more forward looking designs, and their overall build quality has been increasing. I’m still rooting for American makes.

I replaced the timing chain tensioners in my 911sc, which are a known weak point that people care about. I have receipts for the parts and date/mileage of the switch, but what are the odds that someone will believe me? Or that they won’t say “thanks, but how will I convince the next guy when I try to sell it?”

$4,000 for a V12 and 7 series alloys? I'm down.
