Yeah I look at that thing and all I can think about are the enormous stresses in the mid-wing during landing in a cross-wind. How is that going to work?

My first thought was "Paul Allen just got KSP."

Any list that places a 300ZX above a 944 is wrong.

Why does this matter? Cars have thermostats. Am I missing something?

The clutch is the only bad one, I can do a timing belt in no time and have the tools to do it!

Short wheelbase Colorado with an SUV body.

I never realized just how greasy that guy looks.

The 911's exhaust headers are encased in another pipe in which air flows from the engine bay to the cabin. The air will actually get hot enough to scald your skin, it's pretty intense!

Am I the only one who thinks that the body motions of the car as it rebounds from braking are bizarre? It looks like it's made of jello!

So what is it you're chalking your advantage up to? I've seen the suspension work on your car, which is really well done, but I can't imagine that it's going to be enough for so drastic a corner speed difference.

Very light car, lots and lots of aero.

I know I'm probably odd one out on this one, but this V10 just sounds too sing-songy to me, too artificial. It needs more snarl!

What's really freaky is that all the grouped classic car indices at Haggerty are shooting up. What is going on with this bubble? Where's the money coming from? Who are the buyers?

Don't restore it, strip it and make it a track car. Becoming a track rat is like Valhalla for Porsches.

Battery tray, they all do that. I literally have not seen a 924/944 that hasn't had some amount of rust or sign of rust repair in this area.

Who knows! The Mezger engine (GT2, GT3, Turbo) completely skipped the whole intermediate shaft so this wasn't a problem.

I need to buy the exhausts from these cars. I no longer care about waking up neighbors, I must have it.

Huh, this is why it's always important to look at craftsmanship before voting. I just love the idea of a mid-engine CRX so much I leapt to nice price too soon.

Thanks for the tip on the leatherique, but 90% of the fading is my phone camera's lousy color correction. I have taken pictures of green fires in my fireplace before, I don't even know. The fading really is pretty minimal.

Well here's a shot from my '82*, you can see that it's pretty much the same damn thing as the 993. They had to do something in here for the 996 update, and for all its foibles it's comfortable without dulling any of the focus on the driver.
