My usual random thoughts:

One of them does have powers, although not near dad's level and he can't really control them. The other appears to be normal so far.

Team up or not we definitely need to see Helen Slater one last time.

I believe it is and yes, she does. I have to wonder, though, why supers keep their masks on around other supers who already know who they really are? For example, in the comics, Batman wears the cowl when he’s hanging out with Superman.

Well, obviously they brought the phantom so it could menace them by giving them nightmares. Pure plot contrivance.

Yeah, it was a disappointment that they just let the PI thing fall away.

William is still around, as is Andrea, but they’re both at CatCo so it’ll probably be a while before we see them again. Remember that Kara and Nia still have day jobs there and I’d expect those to be wrapped up at some point.

Yes, I was expecting the whole tower to take flight as well. In fact, I was a little disappointed by what we actually got.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one who thought "filler."

My usual random thoughts:

No but Kara not dating anyone is the same as Kara not dating Kenny. It’s apparent that she and Kenny had a relationship in high school. And she's a great girl. Of course he was bummed. But if she was a “late bloomer” in other respects she may not have been ready for “boinking.”

I predict the Crisis is going to be a massive crutch to excuse sloppy writing.

Yes, it is obvious because short of some serious retconning, Kara wasn’t dating anyone when the series began. But a girl who doesn’t have a driving permit at 18 probably isn’t necessarily particularly *ahem* “advanced.” In any case, both Kenny and Clark are great guys so I’m not sure the “pity” part applies.

My usual random thoughts:

There were Superboy comics for years and let's not forget Buffy or Clark and Co. on Smallville. Kara could easily operate clandestinely with Kenny as a sidekick. Not sure how Alex would fit though.

I have a feeling the Crisis is going to be how they handwave a lot of stuff.

In the original timeline Cat had a thing for Clark, which I interpreted as an indication they were fairly close in age. Of course, the timeline has always been fairly sloppy.

Black Lightning made a reference to a friend of his who is very fast a few episodes ago and I got my hopes up but there was no follow-up.

TBH, when I saw it I thought “cougar” but Cat might be a bit young at that point in time.

My theory is that something will happen in Part 2 that will cause Kara to give up supering—again. She'll decide Alex is right and it will also feed into her breakup with Kenny.
