I also loved the use of the Johnny Cash song, especially since the robot is supposed to be made from car parts. And I sincerely hope Courtney’s S.T.R.I.P.E. acronym doesn’t stick because it’s awful.

IIRC, that was episode 5x07, “Tremors.” That was twelve episodes and six months ago and it’s no longer available on the CW app but wasn’t Rama Khan trapped in a force field by the Fortress’ defense system? That could have nullified his powers.

Sure but for this series specifically it would probably be better to have only one character with the name.

For a bunch of seasoned super types it did seem like they went down fairly easily. Presumably we saw the end of a longish battle royale but it would have been nice to see a bit more.

At one point the caption said “present day,” so that’s what year it is. I wrote it off as this being a different timeline where things worked out differently from our own.

I read online that the show uses theatrical quality fx, better than typical tv, and they are pretty good.
