Well, I don’t know how this is going to work. I don’t subscribe to any streaming services so I’ll have to try watching in the CW app. I might have to just post a day late. I guess we’ll see. Anyway, my usual random thoughts.

No, he has power over “earth,” as in rocks and dirt. What do you think Mars is made of?

To be fair, Dreamer is terribly written. It’s the writers who don’t understand what her real power is.

Yes, Eve’s confession to Kara and especially Alex about killing Jeremiah is a moment of reckoning we’ll probably see next season. If Kara had trouble forgiving Lena, imagine her forgiving Eve.

As previously mentioned, I thought of Nightfox for Alex’s vigilante name. Shadowfox also comes to mind but it’s a bit close to shadowbox.

Isn’t J’onn Manhunter? Martian Manhunter but still Manhunter...

If we ever see CatCo again Kara will need a boss. Cat is gone, Snapper is gone, James is gone. Andrea is the one who’s left.

Me too. Call me the next time Kara tries to mind control the human race and we’ll talk.

The word Rama Khan used was “replenish.” I thought it was odd if they’re supposed to be “gods.” There was no indication of what it meant, probably a result of last minute editing. You’re right, though, if there’s something in their ship that they need for sustenance they probably wouldn’t be much of a threat without

“Generic” is the word. Why did they decide to add extra villains other than to spice up the fight scenes? Was a guy who can control the Earth itself not enough of a threat?

Leviathan isn’t gone. They were shrunk by Brainy and now Lex and Lillian have them. Whether we’ll see them again is debatable. The writers do tend to just forget about stuff.

I wrote the absence of the kryptonite dagger (and Andrea) off as part of the last minute editing. That said, I do hope Lena doesn’t try to use it someday.

It didn’t work for me. I thought maybe William had stumbled in bloody.

IIRC the stockpile of kryptonite is a side effect of Crisis since J’onn allowed Superman to get rid of the DEO’s stash in the original continuity.

 1. Lex is disappointed by Leviathan (aren’t we all?) but oh, the hunger in his eyes at the sight of kryptonite.

Assuming the full name is still Department of Extranormal Operations I don’t think a private company could call itself a “Department.”

Keeping a secret to protect someone else hardly qualifies as “dickery,” super- or otherwise. BTW, Jerry Siegel wrote some of those scripts. So did Edmond Hamilton. Mort’s influence was as an editor.

Not to mention, what is the Library of Congress (or whatever they’re calling it) doing on the west coast? The real thing is in DC. Maybe in this universe it has branches? My sister-in-law is a former librarian too, I should get her take.

If it is, that was never made clear.

I liked that too. Dreamer using her actual dream powers. We saw last season that being able to see an opponent's moves in advance made her a formidable fighter, no need for magic lights.
