There wouldn't necessarily be anything to stop them from taping an occasional TV appearance by "President Luthor," the way they've done with Press Secretary Cat Grant.

I think Kara would have told Eliza about the memory wipe so she could be careful around Alex.

Brainiac's "limitations" are what most of us would call a "conscience." The "unlimited" version of him is unconcerned with collateral damage and very much the-end-justifies-the-means. That's the way a machine might think, which makes sense since the original Brainiac was a machine.

Here's my take: It was dusk when the fight began, as indicated by the exterior lights being on at the Danvers house, and once they were among the trees there was less light. You could see daylight through the trees in at least one shot. Presumably the sun went down while they were fighting since it would have taken a

That was Alex saying, "No, no," when she recognized Kara and saw her sister getting the crap beaten out of her.

We haven’t seen any evidence that Kara weighs any more than a normal woman her size.

The dad, Jeremiah, is also a scientist of some kind. He apparently helped Clark figure things out early on. He invented the special glasses that helped Kara control her x-ray vision when she was younger. He offered to work for the DEO in exchange for the original Hank Henshaw leaving Kara alone.

Why would there be a solar recharging gizmo in the Danvers house? As far as we know, Kara didn't need one until she became Supergirl. In fact, she went for several years essentially not using her powers at all. Better writers would have had J'onn fly her back to the DEO.

Since Red Kara is presumably dead it will have to be Lockwood.

Given the way they screwed up the Legion members we *did* see, I frankly hope we don't see them again unless a completely different creative team takes over.

My guess is that the finale depends on Brainy being even more ruthless than Lex. I also suspect when he returns to normal he'll decide he doesn't deserve to love Dreamer because of the evil things he's done so there'll be another roadblock on the way to true love.

Kara called him "Jimmy" in the Pilot but he corrected her.

It could possibly be worse. Have you read any of the Superman stuff Neal Adams has written?

My usual random thoughts:

“Kara and Red Daughter’s Midvale showdown was clearly limited by budgetary restrictions (it also bizarrely cut from day to night mid-fight, unless that was supposed to be a side effect of Red Daughter’s “evolved” electricity powers),”

But President Baker didn’t mention James. He did mention Cat so she probably got Kara the meeting. Or—wait, could it be—this President actually respects the media?

You can take your job seriously and have a life. I do. Anyway, Alex isn’t actually doing anything one way or the other because she doesn’t exist. She’s a character and the writers are writing her badly. Blame them.

We haven't seen her exhibit that ability before so I'd say no.

We still don't know whether President Baker is aware of her secret identity. He may simply think she's a nosy reporter who needs to be gotten out of the way. I did wonder why the kryptonite didn't appear to affect her and where it came from since Superman got rid of all the natural kryptonite?
