I really had problems handwaving Kara getting in and out of the plane. Super speed isn't enough to explain it.

In the original comics the only thing keeping her from being recognized was a brunette wig. That and she acted differently as Linda, her original secret identity, than she did as Supergirl. Just let it go and live with it.

Any of those scenarios would work. It's unfortunate that most fans hereabouts don't want to see a positive outcome.

“Alex really needed to be at DEO headquarterstrying to stop Lockwood,”

I wondered about "the purple glow thing" too. It's apparently significant but that's all we know.

And why didn't the kryptonite affect her once she got close to it? Does the stuff have a very short range now?

I’d guess President Baker doesn’t know. I’d say Lex tends to keep people in the dark and only tell them what he thinks they need to know.

But they haven't forgotten her mind wipe. Her comment to Kelly about having "a sibling with superpowers" is an indication.

“James is supposed to have Kryptonian strength, or similar levels, but the way he threw the car seemed really weak.”

My usual random thoughts:

It would certainly be marvelous irony if Lockwood suddenly realized the alien nature of his powers and that anything that makes someone different can be good *or* bad, and not exclusively evil.

In the comics, Jimmy had stretching powers as Elastic Lad from a special serum. He was even an honorary Legion member. He had other powers at different times but that was the most consistent.

Lockwood doesn’t/didn’t have security guarding his house because the majority of aliens *don’t* have super powers. Some of them can do things Earth humans can’t but that’s not the same.

In the comics normal humans who received super powers weren’t vulnerable to kryptonite but since harun-el appears to be a form of kryptonite it’s possible.

Unlike the majority, I’ve actually been in a TV station after normal business and it was pretty deserted. Anyway, it's a TV show; you only need essential characters for a scene.

Lex is a genius but he has a blind spot in that he can't imagine anyone else being smart. His underestimating of Lena will come back to bite him.

Kara keeps Lena in the dark because superheroes have secret identities. They get to decide who knows and who doesn’t. We don’t.

When I saw Lockwood with powers I immediately thought of Lex because where else is he going to get them? I guess he could get pecked by a radioactive eagle and become Super Liberty Man but Lex/Eve seems more likely.

I miss her too. At one point I was thinking about the possibility of Winn+Vasquez.

If James has anywhere near Kryptonian level powers that would have to be quite a punch. Mon-El isn't on that level and it would take a bit to knock him out.
