The Supergirl timeline has always been a mess but she spent 12 years in the Phantom Zone, not 20.

There's kryptonite on Oliver's Earth because he's able to make arrows out of it, which means that universe's Krypton blew up. We haven't seen a Clark or Kara though so maybe nobody survived.

90's Flash, Batwoman, James Olsen, Brainy, Martian Manhunter were all sadly underused.

Batwoman was just there to tease us so they didn’t worry about giving her too much screen time. The Supergirl supporting characters were poorly used for sure and I would’ve liked a scene at the end with the two sisters on the Sofa of Solitude. To me, Supergirl was there in the tone of the episode. Barry’s “They become

AFAIK Black Lightning is its own separate thing in its own universe for the foreseeable future.

She’s maybe my third favorite Lois, behind Durance and Hatcher, maybe on par with Adams, definitely ahead of Kidder though.

That's my working theory regarding Arrow as well. He'll die and the show will end. Or maybe they'll kill off Felicity since the relationship drama didn't get a resolution.

“Pam from HR” was a reference to an episode last season when J’onn’s father was causing people to become violent and she was coming after Winn for some reason that was never revealed.

My usual random thoughts:

The President wanted her to go public with her secret identity. Not quite the same thing.

Among them that neither character has been even hinted to be anything other than straight.

Nah, it’s just that whole sisterhood thing.

First, by this not being Kara's Earth naturally she's going to hang back and assume a subordinate role. Second, whenever two guys are getting into it, it's usually up to a woman to be the adult in the room.

I thought it was a shout-out reference to Bob Kane, the creator of Batman.

Unlikely to be Legion. Even if there's a Legion in that timeline they don't exist yet.

It goes back at least to Lois and Clark, with street names like Ditko and Steranko. Smallville had Professor Swann. The first season of Supergirl had multiple references to Plastino Chemical Co.

Except she did the same thing when she met Guardian, who was clearly male.

The big problem with Supergirl is just plain bad writing, coupled with no consistency.

Don't feel bad. At least 80% of my Supergirl posts are permanently gray. One was normal at first and then *became* gray.

I think Kara has the potential to be both. Yes, she’s adorable but she can juggle freight cars. You’d need to be pretty secure in your manhood meeting a woman like that.
