Actually, it was mentioned at one point in the comics that there are no family names on Naltor, Dream Girl and the White Witch’s home planet. Either it was retconned at some point or the show is ignoring it.

My usual random observations:

Once again, Lena is as smart/perceptive as the writers want/need her to be.

He made the thing in present day, right? Wouldn’t he be constrained to use current tech? And apparently a lot of current tech is made/designed by Lcorp. It actually makes some sense if you think about it.

“Agent Liberty surely is going to turn out to be an alien, right?”

- Yes, as noted, I don’t think Lena knows. She only knows what the writers want/need her to know.

And I'm equally convinced she doesn't.

That was my thinking but it would be tricky. Nia can’t have kids except via a surrogate and Brainy would only know her descendants from 1,000 years in the future. How much resemblance would there be?

Clearly Lena *doesn’t* know. The writers have decided she doesn't know for plot reasons and she's only as smart as they need hervto be.

What if there's more to it than that? Cat knows Kara is Supergirl and spoilers indicate Nia has at least one superpower. What if Cat knows about Nia somehow and she expects Kara to train her?

Possibly. Turns out Nia is slated to be a superhero called “Dreamer,” presumably with an ability similar to Nura's. If Nura is in the Legion, Brainy will obviously connect the dots but he might be ethically bound not to tell her about her future. Not telling someone who can see the future about the future; that's a

For sure. It's all speculation until the writers decide which way they're going to go with it. Kinda Schrödinger's President. Maybe they'll get SCOTUS involved to decide if the president has to be human.

All US presidents have been born in what either was or subsequently became the US or its territories. President Marston was born on the planet Durla and came to Earth as a kid. Plus, it was implied that she’s roughly the same age as Cat, which puts her maybe in her 50's. Not old enough to predate the Constitution.

We’ve seen construction workers, teachers, bus drivers, cops, security guards, scientists, and bartenders just on Supergirl.

I actually thought they did a decent job with his makeup. At minimum, it was far more accurate than their attempt at Saturn Girl.

Yes, Kara has a different, more mature look. It’s necessary in order to emphasize Nia’s “old Kara” look and to place "new Kara" in a mentoring role.

Nope. All US presidents have been born citizens. No way she could be "grandfathered in."

There’s a Legion character called Dream Girl, whose real name is Nura Nal. She had the ability to predict the future. I’m wondering if they're going to do something similar with Nia?

Yeah, it would make more sense to deploy the anti-EMP tech before rather than after.

More like a matter of hours. As I mentioned elsewhere, her reaction to using heat vision for the first time was like, “Wow! What a rush!”
