You process it by remembering that Kryptonians age more slowly than Earth folk. Anyway, Alura is probably pushing 70 so it’s not like she’s ancient.

My usual random comments:

It was obvious to me all along.

Anybody whose biggest concern is which way her gazebo is facing probably isn’t thinking in terms of world domination.

Except actors can’t actually eat, take after take. Plus, they have to be able to deliver lines, so they can’t have food in their mouths.

Not so much “evil” as the impression she believes the rules don’t apply to her because she’s so much smarter than everyone else. Unfortunately, that sometimes leads to behavior that looks very “evil.”

Do you seriously think the Senate has a clue about the DEO?

Lucy also had multiple years of military experience—which presumably imparted a degree of discipline—and a grasp of what was remotely legal. Alex doesn’t appear to have any of those.

In the comics part of their powers came from Earth having lower gravity than Krypton but it was never handled consistently. The yellow sun bit has been fairly constant.

Well, “it wouldn’t make sense” is kinda a hallmark of this show. I mean, the only other DC show I watch is Black Lightning but I get the impression Arrow, Flash, etc. aren’t any better than Supergirl.

There have been alternate universe/”imaginary” stories in the comics and on TV where Clark had been convinced not to use his powers. But yeah, I’d like to think any supers would step up in an event like the crossover.

I wonder how he’d know. He was what, a year old when he left Krypton? It’s not like he has anything to compare. Alura could be a well preserved 70 and anyway Durance was stunt casting in the first place.

Right back at ya. I presume you’re responding to my reply about the Legion. Seriously, it’s a bit much to expect to see any new Legionnaires this late in the season. It woulda been nice though.

I speculated during the crossover that there might be a Superman/Supergirl on Earth-1 who had decided to live as a normal human(s). It’s also possible there were no survivors from the destruction of the Eargh-1 Krypton.

My usual random thoughts:

I can see where Winn might be annoying to the point that some folks would joke about taking a swing at him. He apparently rubbed Pam from HR the wrong way at some point.

If not buildup it deserved more time. A good man died because he relied on Winn’s gizmo. That has to suck whether it’s actually Winn’s fault or not. I hope they deal with it next episode.

Not quite mass production but Winn had a whole suitcase full of them in the scene with James.

Maybe because they needed sunlight that was more intense than normal and they also needed to keep her safe?

Brainy was in the preview for the finale but how much Legion we’ll get to see is unknown. Frankly, I doubt we’ll see any more Legionnaires.
