That could easily be a production error; i.e., the set design people made it look like the pods were occupied but the writers only intended to use three Legionaries. There could also be dummies or androids in the pods as part of Imra’s scheme. Or they might be Legionnaires who would oppose her plan so she’s keeping

My own guess is that telepathy is hard to depict on screen and not conducive to action sequences. I’m not sure why she looks nothing like in the comics.

And just what help would a wannabe newspaper(?) reporter be?

One theory of mine is that they’ll defeat the worldkillers but Pestilence will escape somehow and disappear until the 31st century. That way none of them has to be killed.

Because if we don’t we’re no better than they are, in which case there’s no point being the “good guys.”

My usual random observations that won’t ever get beyond “Pending approval”:

Really makes it hard to root for her, doesn’t it? The same thing is going on with Lena and we can see how well that turned out.

Sam is a minority?

Are we still assuming the other pods are occupied? My Corolla has seats that don’t always have someone in them.

The real debate is whether anyone has the right to play god. It’s redemption vs. revenge.

I’m still very disappointed we haven’t gotten a comics accurate Saturn Girl, i.e., blond with a red & white costume and a telepath instead of a telekinetic. On one hand I’d like to see a Legion show but not from this bunch.

Sam found a crystal in her spaceship that guided her to her Fortress of Sanctuary. I figured Pestilence was holding something similar. IIRC, we haven’t seen one for Purity but it’s probably a good bet each of them has one.

Okay, after thinking about it, why does Kara need to rip open her blouse except for the visual effect? Can’t she just unbutton it at super speed? She changed into her Kara dress behind a bush back in season 1 and nothing got ripped.

Wasn’t that Next Generation?

No, the cape is made from the blanket Superman was wrapped in as a baby. James gave it to her at the end of the Pilot. Winn made the rest of her suit though.

Seven years from his POV, so yeah, he’s had a chance to grow up.

Okay, another set of random observations that will stay “pending approval” forever:

I think we have to assume the DEO owns the whole building.

Mon-El’s costume in the comics had a peplum, for cryin’ out loud, which is something most guys don’t even know what it is, much less wear. Compared to that, this isn’t half bad.

I don’t miss Mon-El being clueless. He always struck me as being more stupid than funny. For example, Kara should never have let him out of her apartment until he knew what a phone was.
