Mon-El’s suit was originally designed by Superboy artist George Papp. This version actually looks better than the original, IMHO.

To be fair, we haven’t seen him trying to cheat, just letting Kara know things are complicated.
Yeah, she doesn’t seem to remember the spaceship in mom’s barn so the whole trip must have been blanked.
It’s never been suggested in-show that Winn made Mon-El’s old costume. I just figured it was a spare DEO jumpsuit.
Except Lena doesn’t have ice water in her veins. Being emotionally tough with Sam clearly affected her but she knew it was necessary.
As usual, some random thoughts:
I’m looking forward to seeing him in a reasonably correct costume too. I also liked the Easter egg when he mentioned Rimbor, Ultra Boy’s home planet in the comics.
In a way, Winn is there to show you can overcome your past. As angsty as he might get about being the son of a supervillain, we know he’s going to be all right.
I was a fan of Caulfield on Buffy too but she was poorly served by her FBI agent character on Supergirl.
Sadly, I suspect “karaoke night” will go the same place as “game night” from season 1.
To be fair, everyone involved nailed that number. By far my favorite of the episode.
The DEO isn’t especially “secret” is it? And apparently there aren’t any hospital ER’s because anyone who gets hurt is taken to the DEO. And how did the flying monkeys find Mom and Winn?
The painted on mask is pretty bad. It reminded me of a strip of duct tape. I hope she gets a proper costume soon. But remember that he had just walked in on the person he thought had attacked his wife. Plus, he was angry at not getting to kill Tobias and he wanted to hurt somebody. Still, two things bother me. First,…
No, Lena isn’t Pestilence. Yes, she’s adopted and the right age but we know who at least one of her parents was. The world killers were created in a lab on Krypton. Lena has Lionel’s DNA, as proved last season. Where and how would Kryptonians get hold of Lionel Luthor’s DNA?
You mean the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. model where nobody knows what the heck is going on? My wife is still a fan but I’m finding it harder and harder to watch the show or care about it.
Given the way Psi got in her head in the “Ft. Rozz” episode and the way the writing on this show is, you could easily be right.
I never expected the Legion as it was in the comics. That ship sailed when they made Kara and Mon-El a couple. I also don’t think anyone seriously expected to see “dozens of new characters on somebody else’s show.” I did expect it to look like they tried with a few core Legion members. This is just bad.
The other Legionnaires are in “cold storage” because they don’t want to cast more actors or create more dreadful costumes--although given the lack of imagination that’s gone into the costumes we’ve seen so far “create” is a bit generous.
It’s not a sign of normalcy, that’s for sure. The only people we’ve seen who had glowing eyes were aliens and world killers.
I’ve been wondering about that too. I also wonder where Lena would get hold of aliens to use as test subjects? And why did she build it? Is she simply a savvy business woman creating and exploiting a perceived need or is she genuinely alien phobic? Lillian and presumably Lex both hate aliens on principle, what’s…
