I’m an Agent Vasquez fan too and it looks like we won’t be seeing the actress on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. this season. At one point I was hoping we’d see something with her and Winn. If nothing else it would give her some well deserved screen time.

Moving mass possesses kinetic energy. It doesn’t matter whether it’s Earth mass or Kryptonian mass. If Supergirl gets hit hard enough by anything it’s going to hurt. That’s how she can be knocked out by a bomb. Think about it: a good breeze can’t hurt you, right? But a hurricane can kill you because there’s more

We know Mon-El told Imra about him and Kara and anyway if they’re following the comics she’s a telapath. Kinda hard to keep secrets around her.

That took place before the party started. It was part of the prep stuff.

She needs friends where she can just be Kara, not Supergirl. That makes perfect sense.

No, he said two episodes ago that LCorp will find a cure for lead poisoning 400 years from now. He still has his powers, they’re just not up to Supergirl’s level.

I hadn’t heard that. I wonder what’s going to happen?

Given that Brainiac 5 has been cast that’s a sucker bet.

Yeah, it felt like the writers were trying to bring everything together: Ft. Rozz, the Kryptonian religion, Reign, etc.

Yeah, they could cover some stuff by saying M’rynn was from Africa or something but how do you explain him never having had hot cocoa or knowing what a “sequel” was? Even if everyone else was in on the secret Lena and Sam didn’t know what was going on.

Okay, I rewatched the scene at the site of the first Reign symbol and it was Kara, J’onn and Agent Vasquez. Alex wasn’t present. Presumably Alex was still there hosting the party but how did they explain Kara’s absence? “Sorry everyone but I have to go cover a story during a Christmas party I’m supposed to be

Not everyone apparently. The teaser for next year shows three hands with flight rings and we know Brainiac 5 has been cast so I’m guessing Mon-El, Saturn Girl, and Brainiac 5, but how they’d have a chance against someone who can beat Kara is debatable unless Saturn Girl’s telepathy helps them find a weakness or

Mon-El is nowhere near as powerful as Kara. He wouldn’t have made a difference.

If Ruby is like Sam her powers (if any) won’t manifest for some years.

I for one like the kid (in small enough doses) but I doubt we’ll see her or mom after this season.

Possible but it’s not a matter of breathing. Alex’s line in season 1 was that Kara wouldn’t be able to “generate thrust” beyond the atmosphere. Granted it didn’t make any sense but if she can’t do it, how can Superman?

If Ruby is like her mom she won’t develop powers until she’s older. That means no super kid.

As usual, a few random notes:

J’onn’s father could simply be from out of town. J’onn and Alex are known to work for a government agency (IIRC they have fake FBI credentials) so it’s not far fetched to have something come up. Kara’s absence would be harder. Yeah, she’s a reporter but she’s not “on duty” 24/7.

1. In the comics Imra is a telepath. I’m not sure what good she would do.
