Here in Manhattan, there are plenty of offices in skyscrapers built before World War I. Old buildings can be retrofit for new power needs, new HVAC systems, new lighting systems, new fire suppression systems, new roofing, etc. ADA compliance is a different story (and why almost noplace in NYC is ADA compliant).
