It’s not an investment. It’s gambling. Gambling is a form of entertainment.

When the jackpot gets big enough to be in the news, I buy tickets. For me, it’s worth a few bucks to have the chance to win, and to dream about what you’d do with the winnings.  Dreaming about $1000 isn’t worth a dollar to me.  I don’t dream

I’m not sure what I failed at, except maybe you understanding my words. I can make Android DND do the EXACT same thing that the switch on my iPhone does.  Obviously, you can’t make a single function switch do all the same things that customizable DND options allow.  This should be my last post in this discussion, as I

I get that some people like it. In such a case when you forgot to silence your phone before a meeting, you can just hit a volume button to silence a call’s ringing. And then silence your phone completely after that.

I’ve actually been unable to trust the switch because of exactly what you describe. I was in a meeting,

Or, they can do the same exact same thing, depending on the settings you choose.  I definitely said that.  You skimming too fast or something?

Hmm...

As someone who carries both an Apple and an Android phone daily, I wouldn’t miss it. I also find it too easy to accidentally switch on or off (although, unlike Grandma, I know how to switch it back).

DND can do that, too, if you want.

These are not only discrete features, but also discreet features. ;-)

Good point. But those are all customizable, too. You can disable those settings if you want.

My point was that you can make Android’s DND do the same thing as Apple’s little switch. The only thing I can think of that is missing is the ability to reach into your pocket and flip the switch without looking. Android

Don’t have time to watch a video, but does it mention terms NOT to use (like the obsolete/frequently misused ‘shall’)?

Stray is available for free on PlayStation Plus and on PCs.

What does DND do for you, that isn’t just muting alerts to be silent?

Ah, so a poorly constructed sentence, along with a bit of inaccuracy.  It’s not free, it’s included with a subscription.  And it’s definitely not free for PC, as that sentence could be read.

Stray is not free.

N95s don’t stop water vapor. Moist, warm air will rise.

I think steel trays are required here.  They would allow you to see the leak (and contain slow leaks from damaging other stuff) in time to repair/replace your water heater (hopefully) before a catastrophe.

Insulation can only do so much. I have 18 inches of blown insulation in my attic, and R-15 batt insulation in all my exterior walls. Radiant barrier on top of my attic insulation AND underneath my roof. It’s not practical to insulate my home any better than I already have. Without thermal mass, what is being

I actually am looking at ICF. I’ve actually dreamed about a Monolithic Dome for a long time, but my GF isn’t sold on the non-traditional shape. So now I’m looking at ICF. I haven’t heard of AEC, but I’m now going to look into that. Thanks!

I’m fully vaxxed with a single booster, and I’m just getting over COVID after traveling to a work convention that I had to attend.  I still have horrible sinus and chest congestion, two weeks later.  I’d hate to know what it would’ve done to me if I hadn’t had the vax.

Yep, it’s all about that thermal mass. I’m going to have my next house built for me, and I’m going to incorporate a LOT of thermal mass. Concrete half walls wherever possible. Large stone/concrete fixtures.

Right now, even though my house is well insulated (also two radiant barrier in the attic, reflective tint on the

Yeah, where’s the editor?  Is it too hard to add a time zone to times?
