Disagree. I don’t even roast in the oven any more. I buy pre-peeled garlic, dump it into a little corningware mini-casserole dish/giant ramekin, cover with olive oil, and then microwave on low for a few minutes. You don’t get the toasty bits, just the soft, melty garlic goodness, but the convenience more than makes up

If you yell at a fast food worker about a sandwich, you might be a herb.

Yeah, this is pretty crappy.

With the app, you just buy whatever it is you’re going to buy, snap a pic of your receipt, and then take a picture of the expiration date of your items the item you put back on the shelf when you actually bought the fresh stuff. That’s it.

Electric Sheep is one of only two screensavers that I’ve ever paid for (although the free version is pretty cool, too).

RIP, After Dark screensaver.

It’s too bad they’re not updating those.

I never used Google Reader, but I did love iGoogle.com, which was a portal page that you could load up with RSS feeds, weather widgets, sports scores widgets, the latest video on a YouTube channel, comic strips, crosswords, etc...

Protopage.com does close to the same thing. And it’s my RSS reader/news aggregator. All

When I learned to spell it, I was taught (in the USA) that it could be spelled with or without the ‘e.’

How did you get them to grill at home? Swiped some from a restaurant somewhere?

I’ve had a lot of burgers. I’ve had a lot of burgers made of a lot of different meats. I’ve even had a lot of burgers made out of a lot of different non-meats.

The Impossible Burger (and, to a much lesser degree, the Beyond) is VERY, VERY

I absolutely stretch my legs into the aisle. I don’t leave them there, but just a few seconds every now and then when the coast is clear works wonders for helping mitigate the pain of air travel.

Cutting in at the last minute is a zipper merge.  I posted the links to articles and actual traffic engineering papers/studies just a few comments down.

Found one of the people making the dick move.

Mine auto-updated without me doing anything.

Yeah, I tried 1Password and while I can imagine a worse password manager, I haven’t actually seen one that’s worse.

This stuff is not oily or greasy. It really does feel like putting water on your skin.

I don’t think wasabi is sour at all.

Something else to speed up relief: wash your knife immediately after chopping the onions. I don’t remember the science behind it, but the stainless steel helps take the onion stuff off your hands.

No need to buy one of those gimmicky stainless steel bars of “soap.” Just wash your knife.

I have a box of nitrile exam gloves in the kitchen.  For cutting peppers AND for mixing things by hand (keeps your hands clean and helps cut down on transferring warmth).
