If you’re not blocking javascript, Facebook is likely tracking the majority of websites that you visit. You don’t have to click on anything, nor go to Facebook’s website...

I have that version of the app, but no theme option for me.

Where are you getting your definitions?

No doubt.

You wouldn’t.

The problem, of course, is that apps don’t always work the way they’re designed to... Memory leaks plague what percent of apps? 10%? 25%?

And privacy? Some apps are more aggressive about tracking your every move when the app is open. Closing apps can offer better privacy in some cases.

That’s the problem.  These apps aren’t letting the users know that the information is being shared.  The users think it is still secret!

Facebook has profiles for people without Facebook accounts, you know.

I’m not really sure what you mean. If you have a fan blowing air out of your house, where does the air come from that replaces it? From outside in the triple digit heat? If not from outside, then where is it coming from?

When I used to live in San Diego, we put fans in the upstairs windows, blowing the hot air out,

It actually has to be significantly hotter than body temperature for fans to have a negative effect. As was pointed out already, perspiration and evaporation provide a tremendous cooling effect.

This is oversimplified to the point of being incorrect information.

Sounds like my kinda banana puddin’.

I consider myself something of a banana pudding connoisseur. It’s one of my fav desserts, and my absolute favorite to go with BBQ (real BBQ, not burgers and dogs). I’ve had it all across this great nation, from Seattle to Miami, New York to San Diego, Milwaukee to Houston, and lots of places in between. I don’t often

Same.  I want to drink my coffee, not just smell it and burn myself with it.

Pike Place? More like Yike Place! One of their worst.

Blonde is where it’s at.  Really, the only decent bean there, if you’re gonna be a coffee snob.

Nothing funny (or ironic) about that. It’s the world that our kids are growing up in. Very different from the world parents grew up in.

I just searched and couldn’t find a dumb phone with GPS.  Can you share with us the model of phone your kids have?  Thanks!

You lost credibility when you said, “The S10's in-screen fingerprint reader was a good replacement for rear-mounted options...” That’s about as inaccurate as you can get.  It takes over a second for my S10+ to open a fingerprint that it reads correctly the first time.  But it only correctly reads a fingerprint the

Absolutely absurd that the Amazfit Bip isn’t mentioned anywhere. Is there any other watch that comes close to what was the undisputed “best smartwatch”, the Pebble? Is there any other watch that gives you over 30 days between charges?

Good to know! That’s the main reason I looked for Textra when I first switched to Android. I almost switched to Allo, but lack of this feature stopped me (thank goodness, since Google already killed it).

Not sure I’ll ever switch from Textra now, but I’m glad that the basic Google messages app is being updated.
