My concern with 4pt belt is to do with head injury. By restricting the torso, the head will whiplash forward. A HANS countermeasures this.

Dunlop’s lap record of 133.393mph on lap 2 is remarkable yeah, but his first lap was a 133.369mph lap....from a standing start. That’s arguably more impressive even though it was 0.2s than the record lap

His single lap record of 133.393mph was NOT a full 1:15.643 quicker than the previous official single lap record of 132.701mph (17:03.567) by John McGuinness set in last year’s Senior TT race
