So, I wasn’t aware of any of the choking, or the looking at her phone while she was asleep, or any of the shitbaggery by him that precipitated her actions. I truly did not know that was in response to abuse on his part.

You’re right, he is also an asshole for that- and I’d say that kind of slut shaming is absolutely despicable. But the “put spyware on her own computer” is not accurate. She sold the computer to him, it was his property.
