It’d be interesting to see Eclipso try to break Batman in the Shadowlands. After all, as the Joker once said, “Behind all the stern and the Batarangs, you’re just a little boy in a playsuit, crying for mommy and daddy.” Surely long-stemming traumatized childhoods fit within Eclipso’s reportoire.

All this talk of hope, and Supergirl is just taking it all away from Nyxly. How would she like it if her own hope was crushed in return:

Interestingly, while waiting for this episode, I watched a two-parter episode of Smallville that includes the JSA. I won’t give any spoilers, but it does involve our Star-Spangled Kid. And Icicle too.

This half of the season has quickly become something akin to The Return of Jafar, with Nyxly as Jafar and Mitch as Abis Mal. And if imps can’t kill anyone... Well, you’d be surprised by what you can live through.

Boy, that Eclipso scene was just nuts! Stargirl’s staff may have saved the day, but I doubt it would be of any good against the Scarecrow himself. Imagine that guy filling Blue Valley’s entire water supply with fear toxin. That would be an awesome Halloween episode!

Kylo Ren would’ve pointed out that Nia’s need to reach out to her dead mom, “searching for [her] everywhere”, is her greatest weakness. In fact, behind all the chutzpah and magic tricks, she’s likeBatman: “just a little [girl] in a playsuit crying for mommy and daddy.”

If the new JSA think the Crocks are bad news, wait until they meet Harley Quinn and the Joker. They make Tigress and Sportsmaster look like the Vienna Boys Choir. Heck, I’m looking forward to seeing the likes of Joker and Harley turn Blue Valley into a war zone.

I’m waiting to see how Kara will react to the result of Lex Luthor’s trial. She’s sure to take it well:
