The only problem I can see with out-of-state buyers is their money being good. However, a bank wire is guaranteed funds, so if they wire who cares. If their money is good, and they come pick it up, who cares where they are from? Now, BUYING out of state has its problems, sure.

No, the author is correct. GM should have been doing this years ago. Look at Tesla, or even Nissan and VW. Shoot, they had an electric vehicle over 20 years ago. But they decided to scrap it and continue with fossil fuels. Tesla did it in a LOT less than 20 years. And what was GM’s answer to Tesla? The VOLT. A crap…
