Can you imagine a military barracks where the troops just hang out together naked?

Which is itself a euphemism for use of a gym towel, a bottle of Lubriderm, and $15.99 spent on hotel pay-per-view.

You raise the interesting question of whether a 17/18-year-old's informed consent to abide by a Code of Conduct should be treated as meaningful or illusory.

That jumped out at me too. I wonder what kind of sampling method was used there.

See? Once you start policing people's sexual behavior, it's really hard to stop!

Well, it's somewhat likely that all CUA students make some affirmative representation that they know the school's Code of Conduct and agree to abide by it. So if someone later disagrees with the Code of Conduct, it's worth asking what was going on when they agreed with it earlier.

I never saw an ep of that show, but I assume everybody on it just wanted to bang Maura Tierney as badly as I did. Just tell me I'm right about this, and then we can move on.

with the heavy-handed exposition of a late-era Star Wars provincial council meeting

Excellent article. Would love to see more like this on Deadspin.
