Field tests are insanely unreliable when it comes to false positives, and there’s a good reason for this - cops don’t care about false positives AT ALL, all they care about are false negatives, because a false positive lets them arrest and charge you, then when it turns out the test was wrong, they let you go no harm

“Maybe they can get to 85+ wins” is exactly what I am talking about. That attitude gets you 75 wins a year, no farm system, and no real chance to ever win.

Shameful. Just another Puig showboating on the baseball field.

Looks to me like they've been dating "inside" already.

clearly a foot fault

Well, that’s certainly one way to get out of playing for the Lions.

Y’all keep acting like Gase is some weirdo freak but doing at bumps at work because you only slept three hours the night before and have already drank enough coffee in the morning to tear a hole through your stomach lining is about the most New York thing imaginable.

I feel sorry for Jermaine, but honestly it feels like that whole team is Kearsed.

Hey, I “call Dan Patrick” as much as any other guy, but giving it that euphemism has never gotten me out of trouble with the police when I do it behind the wheel.

Cops like donuts and coffee, right?  King should’ve spent 15 minutes giving pudding-edged takes on coffee and flying commercial.

He throws them away after one hit?! What a waste. There are sleepy children in China. Finish your plate Adam

I do not want to do it by pure WAR. I want to cherry pick stats to make my argument seem more compelling: when he was second in voting but was clearly better than the person who won, then WAR be damned, but when he led in WAR but didn’t win, then I’ll use WAR.

Talk about tank tops!

I gotta admit, I would have assumed a story involving three baseball players and their wives would have included a sex tape and not a discussion about gun and race in America. So this story is just filled with surprises.

Gotta admit, in a story involving three baseball players and their wives, I did not think an overwhelming majority would have reasonable opinions.

I included them specifically for the usual Deadspin schadenfreude.

This can not be said enough:

So when KD uses burners to pump up his image, it’s lame. And when he doesn’t blame anyone else for a career setback, it’s also lame.

I give the guy a little credit for caring enough about a benching at this point to fight his manager over it.

So what if he tried to hit Hyde?  He’d have like an 81.7% chance of missing anyway.
