why do american concentrate on "highway" mpg figures ?.. most corvettes spend less than 10% of their lives on the motorway.. and the "highway" mpg figures are derived from an overdrive gear, which isn't in use 90% of the time.

it sounds like an abarth 500... the carbon chassis may be 5kg heavier but i suspect its going to be about 5 times as rigid, and 5 times safer..

because its a waste of practice... the F1 got its top speed by accident. it was supposed to be a drivers car but aerodynamic body and loads of horsepower meant it would hit redline in top gear so they stretched it and boom, 242mph.. i reckon if they wanted to, they could.. if the mclaren f1 could do 242mph with 620hp,…

i wouldn't be at all surprised if the p1 did go round in 6:33.. lets be honest, it has 900hp, weighs 1400kg and so much downforce that 900hp gives it a top speed of "only" 220mph.. that is a recipe for sub 7 mins..EASILY..
