this isn't exactly a techonology but... 8+ cylinders !!.. why isn't there a 2 liter v8/v10/v12 ? surely the LOW displacement would mean good fuel efficiency and more compactness but we get to hear all the supercar noise from our commute (even though we won't be moving anywhere very fast).
