Best line of the episode, and the dead serious delivery sold the whole thing.

iZombie and The Good Place are two of the best TV shows being produced at the moment. It’s a pretty decent trade for not having one of the best shows on TV from 10 years ago anymore.
Wow, this means a lot. Thank you. I have to go... um... wash my eyes. Bye.
Honestly, if anything they should have VM actors guest star in The Good Place. Flashbacks and whatnot.
I agree. Loved the show, deeply disappointed by the movie. Let It Go.
Yeah, Veronica Mars was somewhat rare because it was about a teen sleuth — assuming Bell still wants to play the character, a new series would have to be about an adult PI. Which is fine, but there are *lots* of shows like that.
Liv eats a washed out former-(blonde)teen’s Private Eye brain who was a bit like a 21st century Nancy Drew but has now gone to the good place.
They should just cross it over with iZombie.
The look on Barry’s and Cisco’s faces when the kids said “suck it, old man” was priceless.
Poor Matt - he finally gets powers, but also got brainwashed in the process.
I loved the scenes between Polaris and Reed. I wish there had been more of them. What an interesting dynamic. Stephen Moyer played it exactly right; if there had been even a hint of indignation at Polaris’s chilly response, it would have torpedoed his character. He knows she’s right, and when she calls him out for all…
If they had gone the anthology route (which it probably is good they didn’t) I would have seen those few lingering threads like Will’s bathroom vision as being a classic horror movie style “The End...OR IS IT???”
Sigh...if only firsties still mattered here. Oh well. In memory of the old AVClub, I hereby infect you with cancerAIDS. Enjoy.
Yeah the lyrics aren’t particularly good. Which is a shame because she’s actually a really good songwriter. Hopefully the other tracks will have that. Her singles aren’t her best songs anyway.
I actually like this song. Personally I think Taylor’s singles aren’t her best songs. It’s usually her other tracks that are excellent. I don’t like Shake It Off or Bad Blood but happen to really like the rest of her tracks on 1989 (New Romantics is my absolute favourite).
I originally thought they might have it that Veronica’s dad was white and her mother was Latina, which would explain the family name.
I would be okay with it if we got a better sense of the family background. It doesn’t need a whole lot of time, but something to make it feel better-developed.
Glad to know I’m not the only person a little confused by having the major Latino character being a guy with a hard H at the start of his first name.
“ What was the point of the embarrassing dance-off between Cheryl and Veronica? “
They REEEEEEAAAAAALY need to stop trying to make Beyonce the “actor” happen.
