All the little allusions to how The Good Place functions worked better than I was prepared for as far as getting me invested to know more. I'm ready to peel back the curtain on Michael.

An A-? For real? This looks like the most twee, treacly, emotionally-manipulative bullshit to come around in a long time.
As born-and-raised Lutheran who currently works in youth ministry, my number one complaint of movies like this is that they're doing absolutely nothing to minister to most non-Christians.
So this comes out on September 27, which means we can expect Max's patronizing youtube video explaining why we uncultured masses didn't get it on September 28.
I wonder if the extended cut will be unrated/uncensored. I hope so. It was so clear Feig and co. were holding back throughout this entire film.
"With someone very different."
Fair point. She really is the one piece I'm not 100% sold on.
Unpopular opinion: I am so ready for this movie.
Oh motherfuck I forgot Zoey. You're right- she's the worst.
Oh, I've already got digital copies of each episode. I'm just a sucker for well-presented physical media. I'd kill for a stacked blu-ray release with behind-the-scenes info. Episode commentaries would make me wet my pants with glee.

Still waiting on that blu-ray release, Disney.

That's a shame, because I like Gaffigan as a comedian very much, and this show was obviously a passion for him and his wife.

Is that you, Adam? Here to ruin everything?
Duke Silver gets all the ladies and all the gentlemen.
For me, it's gotta be any and all versions of the Peter Pan story. When you're a child, you're captured by the whimsy and wish-fulfillment of Never Land and flying and fighting pirates and never growing up. I agree with you in theory, but there are some genuine talents currently on Disney Channel. Namely Sabrina Carpenter and Rowan Blanchard, who are the two leads on Girl Meets World. That show uncharacteristically requires performances that are a bit more subtle than the rest of the channel.
But can she act though? A reasonable barometer for real-world talent the Disney Channel is not.
It wasn't so much that they were green, but that they were reminiscent of his mother's eyes.
I'm so happy this is good. After the utter bore that was The BFG, I was holding out hope that Pete's Dragon would be the sleeper hit of Disney's summer releases. Can't wait to see it.
