If the CW moved to a model of 13-episode seasons for all their shows, I'd be all over it. Their shows with shortened seasons tend to be better-served story-wise anyway (iZombie, The 100, Reign, etc).

I thought that too! I'm not super-familiar with the DC unviverse, but I know Zatanna from Young Justice. I was prepared for her to be Ollie's teacher, which I think could've been cool.

Ersin Fortuna was a ton of fun. That actress was great and I'd be down for seeing more of her in the future.

"Catherine? Out."

"Nev-AAA-da."

"Catherine, why is that your hair?"

I loved this episode, and I'm still down with the series as a whole, but Clarke's costume is really, really stupid.

The nervous hiss Downs and Glazer share when they realize they've landed in Jim Crow south was the single funniest thing of the whole series.

Caity Lotz's performance as her younger self was so, so great. I'm one of the few who enjoys LoT unironically, but if it doesn't last, I'm betting Lotz has a successful career ahead of her.

"I just stopped by to say a friendly hello in an unfriendly way: hello."

"Patience, Worf, patience. Nina was obviously less than worthy…"

No I got that. I just meant that the non-digital stuff (some foliage and/or styrofoam rocks here and there) are really very obvious. To the point that it all should've just been digital.

I find that exhausting.

…Until they die (because, y'know… disease) and then all the devoted fans will sprout torches and pitchforks and decry the show for not treating minorities like unicorns in a bubble.

She was bubbly and lovable in Samantha Who as well!

Did anyone else watch Samantha Who? It was a two-season gem that got dealt a bad hand thanks to the Writers' Strike in 2007. McCarthy was great in that.

I respect her as a heavy-hitter in her field. She clearly knows how to market herself. I respect her as a generally genuine presence when I see her in interviews. I respect her as someone who has made a solid career in a competitive market.

I loved this season. The adorable kookiness was still there, but the writers didn't allow any of the characters to remain static. I didn't much like Titus after all his histrionics last season, and at the start of this one I wasn't holding out much hope, but the addition of Mikey to his life really gave Titus a reason

I'm with you. His episode 1 storyline does him no favors either.

Harrison Ford as Han Solo/Indiana Jones
Maggie Smith as Minerva McGonagall
Hugh Jackman as Wolverine
Reese Witherspoon as Elle Woods
