Every line Hill delivered as his gangster persona was hilarious.

One of the many off-base items in this premiere: Canker Pus Monsters? Did I hear that correctly? Come on now.

For a second I thought everyone was keying into a subtly initiated Korean love-fest before finding that the German word for grandma is somewhat similar to how Mom sounds in Korean.

The whole season was great if you ask me! I work for Epix!

Probably inspired by writer Connor O’Malley, who donned the same getup for one of his Anniversary Guy skits on Seth Meyers’ show.

    Plaaaaahsssmaaaahhh

A director of Gomorrah the TV show should have been enough of an indicator. I’m guessing Day of the Soldado is to Sicario as Gomorrah(TV) is to Gomorrah(Film): a bafflingly divergent and soulless attempt to cash in on a critical success. Also, what’s going on with new Taylor Sheridan?

This just verifies that he’s a cowardly automaton who is incapable of possessing or understanding principles, operating on feeling alone, much like his buddy.

My boy Alden Ehrenreich(didn’t have to look that up but I’m pretty sure it’s right, because he’s my boy) just can’t catch a break....

Ah, I can’t wait to see him put on his Lena Duchenne doesn’t like me face (from Beautiful Creatures, my favorite Ehrenreich movie) for a whole movie.

I recently watched this gem having learned of the participation of Florence Pugh (Lady MacBeth), Jonathan Banks, and Patrick Wilson, which struck me as an odd number of indie-ish darlings in a big budget thriller movie. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it and I was not surprised, I suppose, that IG reviewed it

In a characteristically coy move, we hid them on our shoulders. Part of me wishes I had been bolder, like you. Well met! We recently had a huge dust-up and seeing the tattoo in the midst of it killed me.

Oh god of course my wife and I are not the only ones to get those tattoos!

With all due respect, this performance of Gethsemane was fine for the average viewer, but if you’re at all familiar with JCS, you may know that there is one particular note (yes, one, not all this “many of the high notes missed” that I see in a lot of comments) that has basically reached lore status for fans of the

Ah, “why do you care so much,” the call to arms of the uncomplicated mind.

There is a question of where the line is, but I’ll still skip a cliche about good people not saying anything.

    Yesss Dreamcatcher.

I like Danny McBride well enough, and I’m speaking from limited research (this and Rolling Stone), but it seems he has a case of Dolly Parton at the Golden Globes-itis. That is, an unwillingness to commit to any political commentary, which can be frustrating these days.
