    You mean 17 right?

“When I saw you in that swamp, Mr. Emerson, I knew you were special. It’s like the fates intervened and manifest my dreams. My very own English suitor dropped from the sky.”

You undermined my authority as her maker! You risked those people's safety and your own! If I had not glamoured them within an inch of their sanity, both our lives would have shattered!

I enjoyed the bit about the "bad fan" phenomenon. I remember getting tired of hearing people say "Walter White is AWESOME and Skyler is a dumb ___!" 0_0

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Tulip's despondent proclamation of "He touched me" after being tossed by The Saint. It seems that was a more significant event than it seems on the surface, but I can't imagine in what way.

My wife swears that's what is going to happen, but I'm pretty sure that was a dead end…right?

I was really hoping they actually used "Whip My Hair" in the commercial…

I was going to see it later but I fell behind.

I wasn't disputing the truthfulness of his statements—just the filter, or more commonly, "slant," with which he states them. I was going to give you some examples, but it appears the original comment is gone.

Of course "saying things that are true" or "telling it like it is," as you and @JimEJohn:disqus respectively say, indicate that a person is alt-right. What a person brands as truth exposes the filter by which they view reality, one of those filters is essentially that frothy brew in question.

And then a two-hour Girlboss finale?!

Thank you for your insights! I'm of the mind that plot, perhaps with this show in particular, can take a back seat as long as the characters remain entertaining. Like you mentioned, I suppose I've found the writing lacking this season, as the number of times I cringe at a failed joke attempt far outnumber bouts of

Is it just me, or did this dip in quality just start this season? Ianucci left before season five, so I'm puzzled as to why it took until season six to show signs of wear—season five was okay…right?

She also appears perpetually sedated and/or at a loss for words/verbal rhythm. Then there's the kicks…Apparently, the glow is not an invigorating feeling.

Did you ask me if I want to be a paid writer some day and then shut my hypothetical aspirations down?

I cannot believe the ironic depths to which Marco Rubio is acclimating himself to. To have dinner the other night with Trump and agree to do what Comey wouldn't ("let it go") and then sit there and question Comey about proper behavior is a little too Elsa for me.

WHO'S READY TO WALK WITH ELIAS?! Who? Who? Who? Who?

Shhh…I like him too…What does she think of the dab? I might argue that the only people that still like him are the people that are still down with the dab.

Oh, thanks for asking! I had creeping problems with tone and pacing in season two. At the risk of being imprecise, I felt much more often that I was in a holding pattern than in season one and even the Christmas special. I'm not sure if I specifically mean plot movement though.

There were clear problems in season 2, perhaps due to one of the Wachowskis leaving the project. It feels strangely vindicating to hear this news after deciding to quit the show.
