This wouldn’t be an issue if Polestar had as many sales as it had glowing reviews.

“You will be helping the environment” - “Yeah, cool”

Maybe contrarian take: Subaru is in trouble. It only offers slightly differentiated crossovers (plus the Impreza and Legacy) that they’re working overtime to get every last MPG out of. They used to be in the best MPG fleet wide because they had no trucks and big SUVs but they are woefully behind on adopting even…
Just make sure they're at the top of the hill and the bigger the better.
Protip: when your Tesla is at the top of a hill fill the trunks with the heaviest rocks you can find and unload them at the bottom for a free charge.
Can’t you throw some wheels on a donkey and turn a profit in this car market?

Help us Mercedes Streeter, you’re our only hope.
I just need a commuter car for my mother in law. I hate it here.
Or Prius V.
Streisand effect in effect?
The C4 Corvette of my childhood has really grown on me, especially the early C4 with the digital dash but apparently for owners it’s a buggy failure prone piece of shit.
I roll with Cars & Bids.
As I found out earlier this week Java’s SimpleDateFormat uses the “yyyy” mask to represent the timestamp’s 4 digit year but uses the “YYYY” mask to represent the 4 digit year of the timestamp’s week, a useless mask that should not exist in my opinion.
I guess I should say automatic instead of ota. What I mean is that I want to pull into my driveway and have the car update via wifi, which my car does. If it could update via 4g/5g I would be cool with that too.
As a developer that just dealt with a year rollover issue, time is hard to get right. Stuff like this is why you really want ota updates in your car. The “I don’t want my car to be a computer” fantasy is long gone and the best you can do is make the fixes easier.
How is the price expected to compare to a 1998 New Beetle Turbo?
If they quality controlled the engines and they could swap them out in 3 minutes for $7, I would totally swap my engine out every 500km. Thanks for the $7 engine maintenance.
