I see this in people at work. They buy the big diesel pick up for their commute to the office job. They have a boat, RV, and a motorcycle...which they don’t have the time to use as their kids activities are too time consuming.

Agreed. Sailing with autopilot in the ocean could mean you have one or two other boats in your horizon and be staring at them for 20 minutes before you cross their wake.

wow, that’s living large, my roommate moved his honda 3 wheeler with a Honda Prelude. Took off the trunk lid and put the rear wheels in and the front wheel through the sunroof and ratchet strapped it through the windows.

Reminds me of a Detroit story of a seat company that made the removable seats for minivans that had wheels so you could move them in the van and garage.
