I would think the Toyota dealers wouldn’t be special enough for a $200K+ car. Some said the Phaeton failed in this way. The Century doesn’t have the Toyota sombrero on it anyway.

Why the transverse v8? The GMC RV was longitudinal FWD, right? The LS4 is aluminum too, an iron 5.3 from a truck might work well if they bolt to the existing 3 speed transmission.  I don’t think these RVs could be repowered with a more modern transmission because of the layout is so rare at this scale.
